Great Britain won a superb silver on the final day of the FINA Artistic Swimming World Series in Paris.

The team of Kate Shortman, Isabelle Thorpe, Daniella Lloyd, Victoria Usher, Daisy Rushton, Cerys Hughes, Greta Hampson, Ilaria Brandimarte, Millicent Costello and Cerys Larsen produced the best result of their international career so far in the free combination final.

They swam the spider-themed routine they performed at the Glasgow European Championships last August.

And they improved on that display to score a fantastic 81.6667 points to take the second spot ahead of Israel (81.2333).

Brazil was 1.7666 points clear of the British team to win the gold medal at the Aquatic Centre Maurice Thorez in the French capital.
